Argumentan elección de Vargas Téllez en TSJ Morelos
Cuernavaca, Morelos; November 15, 2018.- Local activists, dedicated to the promotion and defense of women’s human rights, announced their adhesion to a national action called by the National Observatory of Feminicide (OCNF).
Next Sunday, November 25, the activists will come to make a closure of the Attorney General of the state, with the intention of making visible the omissions in which this agency has incurred when seeking justice for the victims of feminicide.
At the national level there is a 95% impunity in these crimes, that is to say that out of every hundred cases, only 5 reach a conviction, due to flaws in the investigations and even protection provided to criminals from the institutional framework.
Morelos does not escape the problem of impunity, there are even voices that ensure that the index in the entity could reach 98%, meaning that only 2 out of every 100 cases of feminicide would be punished.
Similar actions to highlight the inefficiency of the Prosecutor’s Offices will be carried out in different parts of the country.
